Get recommended by AI, not just ranked by Google.

When someone asks an AI a question, you want to be the answer it gives. That takes real substance, the right information, genuine reviews, a real reputation, not another round of keyword tricks.

What actually changed

Set the acronyms aside for a minute, because an analogy explains this better than the jargon does.

Old-style SEO let us shape what the world heard about you. Picture you're a band. Someone hears you on the radio and rates you nine out of ten, better than rivals they'd give five or seven. Then they hear your CD: cleaner, more detail, and you still come out on top. Either way, they only ever heard the version we sent them, and we could make that version sound better than the live reality. A lot of traditional SEO worked like that. Tune the signals, polish what the search engine receives, and you could look more popular and more deserving than you actually were. Some of that still works, but nowhere near the old level.

AI changed the game by turning up to the live show. It doesn't just take the radio edit or the polished CD. It reads what other people say about you, and, the big one, it effectively attends the performance, pulling together so much information at once that the old tricks stop working. A video can be edited and a recording can be auto-tuned, but being in the room can't be faked. That's roughly where AI search sits now. It cross-checks you against the rest of the internet, so what wins is being genuinely good and genuinely findable, not being well-produced on your own page.

So what does AI actually look for?

Reassuringly, it's mostly common sense, the same things a careful human would check, done across fifty websites in seconds.

Is the information even there? AI can't recommend what it can't find. If someone asks "how much is this?" and your price isn't anywhere on your site, you can't be the answer, because the model won't invent a number for you. We've seen it first-hand. One health-sector client didn't show prices, partly because a hospital set them, so for any "how much" question they stood almost no chance of appearing. A car-hire firm hid prices too, worried competitors would see them. But competitors have always been able to find your prices; a phone call did the job long before the internet. Hiding them mainly hides them from customers, and now from AI. A clear "from" price is usually all it takes.

Are your reviews real, recent and consistent? Reviews carry real weight, but only honest ones, and they're increasingly cross-checked, so bought or faked reviews are a dead end. Recency matters too: if your last review was fifteen months ago and a competitor's was three days ago, theirs looks like a business that's still very much open. Do your reviews back up the services you claim, in the places you claim them?

Who's behind the business? This is the one most people miss. AI and search increasingly look at the individuals, not just the company, and that information is being surfaced. Everyone should be on LinkedIn; it feeds both search engines and AI. Professionals should be listed with the right bodies too: a doctor on the relevant registers, a solicitor with the regulator, with a proper bio and credentials. We link those up and write them into your site's schema, the unseen code that spells out who you are, so the connections are unmistakable.

Is your content genuinely yours? A page knocked out with a single "write me a page" prompt adds nothing new to the world, and that's exactly what AI is learning to filter out. If you use AI, feed it real, first-hand information. The test for any page is simple: does this genuinely offer something worth including?

How AI finds and joins it all up

Modern AI often takes your question and quietly breaks it into several sharper searches behind the scenes, sometimes better than the one you'd have typed yourself, then gathers and corroborates the answers. So the more your message is reinforced across the web, and the more it all lines up, the more likely you are to be included.

This is where our own testing comes in. As part of work we call fame stacking and visibility stacking, we've been posting daily videos that show and name where we are: a landmark, a recognisable building, the town itself. Search our name and the places we've filmed in start showing up. Video gets transcribed and increasingly "watched" by machines, so naming your location on camera reinforces it somewhere else AI can read. Small, consistent signals that add up.

What we do

We make sure the substance is there and legible to AI: your services, your prices or "from" prices, your locations and your reviews, stated plainly and marked up in schema. We strengthen the people behind the business across LinkedIn and the right professional bodies. We help you earn real reviews and keep them current. And we keep testing, because this moves fast, using emerging standards like llms.txt and OKF where they genuinely help. No tricks, because tricks are precisely what stopped working.

What it costs

Common Questions About AI Search Visibility

A business owner and consultant comparing a search result with an AI answer
Is AI search optimisation (AEO or GEO) different from normal SEO?
Mostly no. Google's own line is that optimising for AI search is still SEO, so the fundamentals still win; this is doing them with AI in mind.
Do I have to show prices on my website to be found by AI search?
You don't have to, but without prices you can't be the answer to a "how much" question in AI search, and competitors can find your prices anyway. A "from" price is usually enough.
Does a personal brand matter for AI search visibility?
Yes, more than ever. AI looks at the people, not just the business, so LinkedIn and professional listings matter for a personal brand.
Can you guarantee my business will be cited by ChatGPT?
No, we can't guarantee ChatGPT citations, and anyone who promises that is selling you something. You earn it by genuinely deserving it.
